Wow, terrific! Love the tap to collapse, swipe to upvote, etc. Main thing in terms of common reading interactions that I’m missing from Apollo is a swipe action to collapse a thread back to its root. The app is already quite nice to use, though, thank you for sharing!
I plan to support Android too, by the way. It is already about 90% functional, mainly just some styling issues due to a few quirks between iOS and Android rendering. I'll keep you guys all posted!
I'll be exploring the kbin API for sure. I'll need to write a wrapper for it (I got off the ground so quickly since the Lemmy crew offers a JS wrapper for their API!) but that wouldn't be a huge deal of work. It's on my list to look into, so I'll keep you guys over at kbin posted.
Hold off on that. It's possible that we'll soon abandon the current API and integrate with one of the existing ones. I'm currently looking for the best solution.
bro your app is super stable as well! I was having a lot of crashes with Mlem, not to discredit their work they've got a cool multi profile feature that's really nice. Appreciate your work!
Testing it now, seems to work pretty well. Aside from search, which you said you’re working on, links don’t seem to work? It would also be nice to have somewhere to see replies to your comments/post. It would also be nice to see what instance each community comes from. Thanks for your hard work!
Double clicking on the 'feeds' button should takes me to top of feeds.
Add more style separation between the title and the body text of each post, and the moment they like quite similar, which makes it harder to eye-scan the content while scrolling.
When i'm inside a post, swipe left should brings me back. And swipe right takes me to the next topic in the list. This applies if i'm swiping the main post, not the comments, as the comments have the upvote and reply gestures.
Is there a setting for your view 18 seconds in where at the top you pick All/Local/Subscribed and below the community? That seems nicer than having the … menu on the right choose the filter
You mention dark mode. Is this the only mode or is there a way to switch?

Currently yes, but I am adding theming support and light mode will be available with that. While I could have just let people use the "native" white look, I think it would be better to add something a little more distinct. But that will be happening soon. Also, you will be able to create your own themes - at first by submitting a PR with the theme you want to add (just ~20 variables to change hex codes for), or later on by actually modifying a file with those hex variables and saving it inside of the app.

I created an issue on GitHub but I’ll comment here also - I can enter the server name but when I go to enter my username I can enter one character and then the cursor goes back up to the server box
