Since it's the season, decided to whip up a 'tauh' of Chakawk (Diplazium esculentum). In English, 'Tauh' would simply be 'salad'. in alt text.

Tidbit: The ferns we get in these parts are not carcinogenic as opposed to the ones consumed/found in Korea, Japan, and other other countries (e.g. Bracken fern and Fiddlehead fern). There are about 10500 species of ferns. Found it interesting when I first heard about it so felt like sharing.

@Deus wait, if bracken is carcinogenic, how come they continue to eat it over at Korea or Japan?

@toridas_ I read that it depends on how it's prepared. "Has been eaten (we've eaten them) for generations..." is usually the argument.
