TL;DR:

  • 2D physics interpolation
  • TileMap layers as nodes
  • Reverse Z depth buffer
  • Automatic engine update check

@godotengine This is not a judgement, I'm just curious: why did we decide to go with automatic engine updates? I kinda like having a frozen engine that I choose to update when I'm at a suitable pause point or I need the new features (some of my current projects are running 3.5.2 for example)
