Shortly after getting my 1st macro lens (Nikkor 40mm f/2.8) in 2021, I took a trip to Chicago. Despite having other lenses I decided to take only the 40mm. It was fun/challenging being restricted to a fixed focal length. Surrounded by all that architecture & incredible views, my favorite photo was taken on a quiet street corner on the north side. I was photographing the flowers when I caught one(!) pic of the #bee.
