I’ve ridden coast to coast across the US a number of times with just the things I can fit on the bike and camping wherever I can find a spot. It’s definitely worth it and you can do it on almost any bike so it doesn’t need to be crazy expensive either!
I just love bikes. I think it’s the huge adrenaline rush from them. And they feel amazing to ride. And the power is amazing. The community is also super friendly. The way they make feel as well, I just can’t describe it. Best I can try is, I haven’t met anything or anyone that I’m constantly excited to be around. Or that I don’t get bored after a while. I’ve only had my big bike for about a month. But I’m always itching to go out. Even after coming home.
I’m not American. But if there is one thing I want to do over there, it is a road trip around America on a bike. Or Australia. Definitely the auto bahn in Germany. And I have no issue with packing light. All I need is a phone charger, money for petrol, and a few pairs of underwear.
Just keeping it real, don’t rely on your Warhammer minis to pull chicks, gotta have a backup like winning a regional MTG tournament to really be rolling in the ladies

She used to post on /b/ and made YouTube videos. She definitely used to be more edgy. The phrase, “shoe on head,” was frequently asked when somebody would post a picture of themselves on /b/. Because it’s almost entirely teenage boys, the chances of talking to a guy posting stolen pictures from some girl’s Photobucket account was almost a guarantee. So guys started requesting weird things like, “post a picture with a shoe on your head,” to prove the girl was actually a girl. I hope I typed this out coherently. I’m sleep deprived

If anything the opposite imo. AFAIK she really adopted the anti feminist anti woke agenda at some point but moved more left over the years, not sure she was ever right wing though.
She’s anti-intersectionality/woke but is generally left on most issues.
Combined with an edgy sense of humour and not buying into when she’s “supposed to” believe as a woman, and people think she’s alt-right when really she’s just… not.

Atheists ended up being seen as right wing after sensitivity became a core requirement to be welcome in left wing discourse.
Completely denying God is Islamophobic, and therefore alt-right.
And while they are usually accepting of the right to transition, Atheists also tend to not see the mind-over-matter style “I think I am female, therefore I am.” as meaningful, but instead view the biological influence of hormones and the social effects of behavior and clothing to be what makes a transition go from a desire to a materialized reality.
This is a transphobic way to view transitions, and therefore right wing.
These days, men like Richard Dawkins have very little influence. Atheism (and anti-theism) peaked around 2010, but after gaining a very bad image there are now few who will self-label as an atheist, even fewer will call themselves anti-theists. They’ll rather say “I’m not religious”, “I’m agnostic”, if not declining to answer completely.
Is it the “denying God means Islamophobia” thing? Its a pretty weak claim in most western contexts, though if you state your disbelief in an Islamic theocracy your head comes off all the same. It would be more accurate to say denying God usually comes with disrespect towards belief, and dislike of harmful beliefs. Feelings Islam becomes a prominent target of as a major religion, and due to its very harmful belief system the dislike tends to be very strong.
Overall she has moved left, but recently she had some really weird reactionary takes and she tends to pal around with people who are nice to her regardless of their political views. Her current boyfriend is, as far as I know, a conservative. Imo seems kinda spineless to be friends with people who actually don’t want you to exist.
I can’t imagine going through life being this sensitive to absurd sarcastic jabs. For the sake of my sanity, I have to cross my fingers and hope you were just badly joking along, too.

It’s not a problem with the platform, any online setting that has diverse enough views are going to require that. To get away from them you need to just put out views that basically everyone agrees with, which can be done by either sticking to echochambers or just having absurdly accepted views.
This also only happens among people who don’t know eachother. Smaller groups usually know eachother well enough to Intuit intention, or at least have no compunction against asking for clarification.
