If open data and code support reproducibility (and they do), then so do standardized data and code 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. But what are the best ways to implement them?

@petersuber For there exists a biblatex package biblatex-software which exactly provides a way to describe software citations.
also supports them as entry types.
