There are approximately 2,500 ‘nasoni‘ (big nose, very Roman) drinking fountains all over Rome providing safe drinking water in public places for citizens and visitors alike. Initiated in the 1870s, most fountains have a dish at the foot, designed for dogs to drink from. Another reason to love Rome and their priorities. #nasoni#rome#lovedogs
