#Poland government aid to #Ukraine amounted to $9 billion in the first two years of the war - minister of foreign affairs Radek Sikorski. The number is publicly disclosed for the first time and it does not include the support for Ukrainian refugees granted inside Poland.
@kravietz - now, if this could make way to the Kiel's Institute stats which everyone uses and which show about 1/3 of this number, assuming we are comparing apples to apples...
In defense of Kiel, it was the first time the 9 billion has been publicly declared. No idea why they didn’t talk about it before, could be not to piss off local nationalists, could be due to the traditional model of Polish administration where everyone guards their data and never shares with anyone, including central government 😂
