This version includes full coverage with every article generated from 2 left leaning, 2 right leaning, and 2 neutral sources. We have also added an anonymous commenting system for people to share their opinions freely. Our servers are now running 24/7 so that new articles appear as they happen! The article about Biden’s granddaughter is complete shite. Only one of the source articles even mentions her and that was quotes from renowned nutjob Kari Lake. The algorithm clearly has a long way to go and that is before starting on the balance issue.
The relative view of left and right is it’s main weakness. When it’s choosing center right (“left”) and far right sources the median you get is not really the middle of the political spectrum, it’s solid right.
If you’re going to inure things like NY Post and Gox then you need socialist and communist and other extreme left reporting to find an actual middle ground.
But even that isn’t really going to achieve what’s being attempted here. It’s a neat experiment though.
