Where are the .desktop launcher files in Pop OS?
I needed a reminder of where to look, and the first search result was in a reddit post on r/pop_os with a similar title. Since that sub is currently locked, I found my answer elsewhere. I decided it would be useful to post the info here too. I'll write my answer below, and someone can write a better one if they have it....
How to get seperate resolutions for two different displays?
I am using Two display (in built display wit h 2560 x1600) and external with 1920 x1080, natively the external display looks good, but the inbuilt display withs application window it looks small, when I try to modify inidividual scaling, it affects both displays, I would highly apperciate the feasible solution on this one.
How do I edit what icons are visible on "show applications" and my desktop?
I have a growing number of orphaned icons in "show applications" and also, somehow, my Steam launch icon is on my desktop. I would like to remove the orphaned icons from "show applications" and move Steam from my Desktop to "show applications" but I have no idea where to edit this.
