Interesting example here of conservation vs. climate change. Turns out that by banning nasty sulphur-laden ship propellant we've in fact made global warming measurably worse. The good news is that by going back and improving the effect we can make things better, the bad news is that a massive international environmental campaign to implement the original change needs to back down: https://www.science.org/content/article/changing-clouds-unforeseen-test-geoengineering-fueling-record-ocean-warmth
