The decision by the European Parliament to ban AI systems of biometric mass surveillance in public spaces is welcome. It should be reflected in the UK.

We must protect civil liberties from the encroachment of the state that’s leading us down the road of predictive policing.

@openrightsgroup @edri Still the same EU wants a Digital Services Act where they can spy on all your communications with your friends and family.

If that is not the definition of hypocrisy then my English is failing me.

@openrightsgroup @edri everyone reading this knows UKGOV won't follow suit, it's one of the reasons they cooked up , so the Euros couldn't force them to be decent.
