@kennybrown131 Same old shite he's been peddling all week from what I could tell " ... blanket ban", "war on motorists" etc.
He's only doing it to attack Welsh Labour. He's conveniently forgotten that Cornwall council have done the same thing. A Tory council. And it's very popular.
@fkamiah17 we’ve had 20mph across Edinburgh for a couple of years. Accidents and fatalities unsurprisingly down. It’s safer. Frustrating when you’re used to driving at 30mph but it’s hardly a major inconvenience. It’s not a war on the motorist, it’s promoting community health
@kennybrown131 It seems to me that wherever it's actually introduced, it ends up being very popular.
I can't drive any more so I get that trying to stick to 20mph must be frustrating.
Where I am there's loads of little twisty narrow roads that some absolute weapons used to steam down. Much nicer (and quieter) now though.
He's a desperate little shite. Slogans are all he's got. And they're pathetic ones, at that.
@fkamiah17 it’s popular with pedestrians, cyclists, children, elderly etc. people who’s voice has been drowned out by the motoring lobby for too long. Next up in Scotland is a ban on pavement parking. Bring it on
@kennybrown131 God, I hope Drakeford follows suit, that would be excellent.
Sunak's terrified of everything that shows him up for the incompetent little shite that he is: Scotland, Wales, Burnham, Khan. With devolved nations and the regions flexing their muscles, it makes him and his party look like what they are - grifting, money-grubbing incompetents.
