Sometimes when I feel down I really want a delightful dessert. Ice cream is my favorite, but I'm also a big fan of pastries.
So, Seattle, I have a question! What's your favorite fancy or quirky little treat from a small shop in Seattle that is Way Too Tasty to be real? It could be dessert, or anything else. What's your favorite secret little nook? :ablobfoxbongo:
@hazelweakly Not in Seattle but my partner lived there for a long time and Frans Chocolate has really good chocolate that she's told me about. We order from them for baking and hot cocoa, but they're Seattle based with stores.
@hazelweakly hmmm there used to be (can’t find it now) an amazing bakery in fremont that was not just gluten free but free of just about every allergen, including soy and dairy. their products were significantly better than most other bakeries. iirc it was somewhere near 36th & fremont or so
@hazelweakly Plum Bistro has an awesome vegan cheesecake made from avocado and fruits, absolutely delicious. If you are ready to take a night off and spoil yourself - nothing beats a 5 course dinner at Harvest Beat.
