@decryption “Back in my day, we had to plug in our USB A devices and we’d get it wrong 100% of the time, we’d flip it around and still get it wrong, then the plug will go in the socket after you try the third time. It’d happen every time and we liked it that way. Kids these days with their USB-X*, they don’t know what they’re missing.”
whatever USB standard will be around by then, if it will be.
@decryption@georgeharitosomeone's left elbow vibrates a couple of times, they slap it and it stops
Oh hey, remember when we all carried “smartphones”? Those were the days…
@jurgen@decryption “Kids these days with their eyeball implants, how are you supposed to have a moment’s peace without ads being blasted straight into your retinas, I don’t get it. Back in my day, the most important plugin in a browser was an adblocker, remember those?”
@decryption way back in the winter of '62, I worked at Burger King in North Hobart and there were some old dudes that just came in, got a few eats, then sat on the free refills of soft drink and talked absolute shit for three hours. Management hated them, I thought they were absolutely awesome.
