Working with people is probably the closest thing to having a different job every day. People are complex and each person is different. You can't figure them out completely but you understand more and more with time.
@thor@grant_h There are both christian and secular "folkehøgskole". Most students are between 18 and 25. Some allow students from the age of 16. No upper age limit. I went to a christian one when I was 17. Studied music. Some music theory, but mostly playing as a school band, going to concerts, trip to London. Highly focused on the social part since all students lived at the school. A pretty fun year until I got a period with panic attacks. I think you would have enjoyed it now, perhaps not as a teenage geek. I was a bit of an outsider even if the environment was pretty inclusive
@thor@grant_h Yes, both the army and folkehøgskole did something useful to the "life experience account". Too bad you didn't get those experiences when you were young. The school pushed me to become more social. The army both that and to just do assigned work, no questions asked. Perhaps the army experience is how I survive boring tasks at work today.
