As a Major League Rugby who is also a hockey fan, the PWHL is off to a great start with the broadcast quality and accessibility. And the attendance in the games I've watched has been fantastic for a league in its first month of play!

I only have two critiques regarding the PWHL:

1. Give these teams unique names a uniforms. Come on, these teams deserve more personality.

2. The broadcasters are a little too dry and professional, and it’s not even congruent with the actual on ice product—which is rollicking good fun

Concerning the PWHL, let me tell you why I love it.

First of all, it’s got some nasty, nasty play! No more of that non-contact stuff. There’s actual body-checking, and these ladies aren’t taking prisoners.

But also, the goals have been absolutely ridiculous. Just totally wild stuff. And I can appreciate a well-executed deke!

I actually think the PWHL might become the best pro women’s league, at least for team sports.
