I'm pretty much out of the loop on a lot of news (by choice)
My thoughts on the recent spate of armed forces talking up conscription and mass mobilisation.
Modern wars aren't fought really by ground forces, but with technology and drones.
Armies - especially the British are professionals they don't like conscripts or 'national service'
My own personal view is armed forces especially in the UK have been downgraded and starved of money for so long they're trying to spook us into investment
@Akeldama You're not wrong. This whole "bring back conscription" BS comes around at least once a year when the MoD feels like it should be getting more money to waste on boats that crash or body armour that doesn't fit 🙄
