For some reason I always like shooting close up portraits of Giraffe's heads. And I had to ask my middle son how long hippopotamus' hold their breath under water for because I was shooting through glass and wanted to get a shot of him when he went up to breathe. Lazy hippos.

These one’s aren't great, but I like hyenas and figured I'd show 4 photos per post. 😅

Some marsupial (sorry no idea if it’s a Kangaroo or Wallaby, though I think it’s the latter) hopping across the yard. My camera captured him in the air about to land.

And being my favorite animal, I took a crap ton of photos of them. Unfortunately some of them taking a dump, unknowingly. 😅 But I won't post those. 🤢

And finally…a coyote resting in the shade on a rock (I see them in the wild where I live once in awhile), and a baby elephant. This is the end of my little zoo photo thread.
