arnie_dxer, Polish 558.0792 kHz: IRIB Radio Iran's extensive synchronuous network is no longer really that synchronuous, as one of the 22 transmitters listed for this frequency has slipped almost 80 Hz off 😝
Obviously, with such a large network, it's hardly even possible to tell which of the 22 units is the culprit... #mediumwave #mwdx #OddballCarrierOfTheDay
List of IRIB Radio Iran transmitters operating on 558 kHz mediumwave, taken from mwlist.org. The listings include transmitter locations, QTH locators, distances & bearings from my QTH in NE Poland, as well as notes for each transmitter as almost all have been moved here from all across the MW dial 6 years ago. 14 of the 22 transmitters are run at 100kW or more, including 2x 600kW, 1x 500kW and 2x 400kW units.
