1350 kHz: two things from Feb 18.

First, a carrier just slightly below 1350, at 1349.9958 (or 9?), signing-off @ 1605:23*z. Could be China, but might also be... JOER, as it was a Sunday, and Japanese commercial stations tend to take maintenance breaks on Sundays, signing-off @ various times, 1500z (24:00 JST) at the earliest.

Second, 1350.0768 - most likely Thailand, Phon Neung Ror. Or. in Bangkok.

A new ?

864.25 kHz or so, too weak for audio. MWLIST provides no hints.

But nothing in Joensuu🇫🇮, Hsinchu🇹🇼, Chongqing🇨🇳, Dimapur🇮🇳, Oita🇯🇵...

Therefore I conclude it must be local to me, or even my laptop.

, actually from yesterday, Feb 18 2024. I'm in a process of reviewing an IQ file from late evening of that day, and I see condx to Asia had been... awesome 👀 👀

Am currently on 810, listening to a mix of Akashvani Rajkot 🇮🇳, IRIB R.Lorestan 🇮🇷, sometimes SBA Holy Quran 🇸🇦... and hoping for AFN Yokota 🇯🇵

... but not yet. Instead, a het, measured 809.7944. Matching KCBS Kaesong🇰🇵, even though it's listed as 1kW??????????????? 😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨

1188 kHz: Asian propagation is so good tonight that I was able to see - and hear? the Yanbian Wobbly Rumbler HLKX FEBC. The view was pretty much unobstructed by stronger IRIB Radio Payam.

Even managed to trace the Rumbler's switch-off @ 2007:03*z, and its QSY to 1205.961 - now w/out rumbling, although there's another Chinese Rumbler on 1206.0! - at *2008:51z.

From idk, 1450z or so...

Actually... why would China be FEBC? I'm sure their frequencies (9275 & 9345 kHz currently) from Philippines carry very similar programming, and yet it's NOT jammed 🤨

Recently, a (International Radio Club of America) group, which discusses , has been hot about a phenomenon of Chinese ... or a strange defect of some 🇨🇳 MW transmitters... or both 🤔

Namely, Rumblers.

More "unexplainable" rumblers from China, via Masset🇨🇦 :
981
990
1044 (big Nei Menggu SFN)
1053
1098 (another RTI freq, // 1557)
1143 (against Taiwan Fishery R.?)
1152
1233
1278
1305 - this one is pretty darn wobbly
1314 - also wobbly
1458 - this one's quite noisy
1476 - another fat & wobbly one
1485?
1530
1575

And in Hong Kong🇭🇰, another look at 1557 kHz revealed not only a carrier accompanied by strong rumble, but even a 1kHz tone from one of the jammers!

1503 kHz: weak wobbly carrier, presumed from China 🇨🇳, seen around 1500z today here in NE Poland. I've seen the same thing - and even heard the audio - some 5-6 years back on a Tokyo area KiwiSDR, as "whisperized" instrumental music battling with JOUK... impressive it's been left out like this for so many years 🥴

Oh here it's got a better shot at 1503z

And there it is just caught during a (brief) spoken announcement on NHK's Rajio Shinyabin music hour, via HL5NTR in Daegu🇰🇷.

Those warped music traces literally look like raindrops on the waterfall 😂

Don't ask me about the exact station, unless one is indicated as such in MWLIST... just looked... not 🤷

Also heard in Joensuu🇫🇮, wobbling underneath CNR13 Uighur echo. There's also another, more serious wobbler well below 1503, presumed ruZZian radiohooligan, similar to those found in 1.7 & 3 MHz ranges.

755.9455 kHz: IRIB Radio Jahanbin 🇮🇷 went well off-frequency, causing a bad het against much stronger Romania. Been much closer to the fundamental, up until recently...

873 kHz: multiple carriers, but two as far as 40-50 Hz below o.O may try to ID them later.
