@drahardja I rather have TLS than having trust in the anonymous humans whose potentially hacked servers route my data.

Trust is not bad but often it's not necessary.
e. g. the postal service does not need to know the contents of my letters to properly work.

Of course a system in nobodys control e. g. Bitcoin or Etherium Contracts just runs rampant, sometimes without goal or ability to change fundamental properties and that's more in lieu of what you probably refer to (I assume)
