One of the hazards of trying out older games is that if you get hooked on one you've missed out on all the online discussion around it.
I've been enjoying Slay the Spire while recovering from maybe-COVID, but I don't have anyone to tell about the fun "Oops! All Shivs!" build I stumbled into. 🥺
@someguyjg I loved Fez, bought and played it day 1, but even when it first came out the online discussion almost immediately was dominated by "I'VE SPENT 90 HOURS DECODING THE TETROMINO LANGUAGE AND HERE'S ALL THE CLUES FOR THE SUPER ULTRA ACTUALLY FINAL PUZZLE", which I didn't have much interest in.
@dneto Somewhere out there somebody just had their mind blown by the reveal that Vader is Luke's father, and they don't get why everyone they talk to about it is laughing.
