Dozens of species — ranging from moths to orchids — may soon be added to Massachusetts’ endangered species list. The list is reviewed about every four years to remove species that have either sufficiently recovered or disappeared, and add species that face growing threats. In several cases this year, the proposed additions recognize the discovery of species that were thought to have disappeared from the state decades ago.
