someone asked "what makes you be a maker" under de hashtag.

It kept my mind busy. Today I came to a conclusion. I ran out of hay wreaths because I did not order them in time.

But I had done some research before. Long time ago. I knew - in theory - how I can make them.

I took scissors and thread to the barn and started making hay wreaths. I expected the first few to turn out wonky but they were fine.

It is asking "can I make it" before "where to buy" that makes me a maker.

@NatureMC wow! YOU say that you adore my creativity. And YOU make an ad hoc craft fair installation about visible mending. I admire YOU! thank you.

I have never been given the impression of not being welcome in the (mastodon) makers community. I'm not sure this would be different in real life.

I'm aware that most people in the makers circles are rather "hightech" makers compared to me. But we all make and find purpose in making and repairing.
