Okay, so TRUMP says he’s going to raise $50 million tonight. @msnbc and most of the media keeps repeating it. It’s astonishing, because the entire story is based on nothing but hot air coming from the Trump campaign.
@gigatexal@msnbc How, exactly, are they “damned” if they don’t regurgitate what is planted for them to regurgitate, as if they were trained seals? I’d like to “expect” them to do journalism, but I know better.
@shoq@msnbc they are “damned” if they do by reporting on him at all. All he does is make outlandish claims. Then they report on it. Even if they say look he’s insane and here’s what he said and why it’s insane it’s press and his supporters will just call it “fake news” and the conversation will continue and he wins. He’s also the leading challenger to POTUS. Whatever he does is news. Unfortunately so.
