Nothing because we didn't have social media to spread rumors across the planet. What were we supposed to do, post it on our Geocities page and write an ICQ/AIM bot to spread conspiracy theories?
@feld it is more fun to list true things that never get mentioned like bush letting bin laden family members bypass the flight ban to get them out of the usa quickly. or that a bunch of investors clearly had foreknowledge of the attacks and were never publicly investigated.
@feld sure i am at a friends house but i'll dig them up and send them to you on telegram.
the bin laden one, his (rich) family had nothing to do with the attacks and so they were getting them out so nothing bad happened to them so it's not actually suspicious. the reason i bring it up is that they got that much consideration from bush and the usg. what should be noticed is basically how close powerful people are to each other.
@feld It was probably archive footage. Anyway the showed that on TV as if hating Palestinians brings back to the towers. The craziest thing was a Japanese Nationalist group claiming it was them as revenge for Hiroshima and Nagasaki that appeared on Television.
@maxmustermann I thought it was Iranians that were dancing in the streets though? I can't honestly recall there being Palestinians, but Wikipedia claims some refugees in a camp in Lebanon did?
but then there's this:
