It always amazes me how many people in cities drive big ass vehicles. I drive an SUV. I live on a dirt road, drive dirt roads the majority of the time, and have to have four wheel drive to get up the road in the winter. What is their excuse?
Living south of Kalamazoo for nearly 30 years now - I see lots of "guys" in their crappy pickups - lifted and big tires... driving around like they are big man on campus...
Having lived in Metro Detroit for decades growing up - the majority do not... however - they drive up north as tourists and do the Fire Road thing "like they are kings"...
But some of them actually need 4-wheel drive too.... have you seen where some of these folks build a house? Driveway with 30%, 40% grade asphalt --- I can't imagine driving up that in the winter.
Too many of them take the "house on the hill" literally...
