Worst workout in these past 6+ years of obsessively doing it---UTTERLY INEXPLICABLY lost about 40lbs worth of performance capability in an exercise....several months to nearly a year worth of progress just up in smoke despite all these advancements in the same and tangential areas over the past 2 months since I last dealt with this specific set on the rotation. WTF

@getter7seven Oh, I have days where it's like that. One week I could do 45+ pushups in my first set. And then the next week, just, gone.

@juliancday This has never happened before to me in any capacity, let alone one where I had to drop such a dramatic amount as each increment made no difference until that point. I literally just qualified for a weight increase on an exercise using this exact same muscle group the same way last week---and was fully recovered from, no fever, dinner/breakfast sorted, etc. I couldn't even move the thing off the floor. :/

@getter7seven Progress is non-linear. You'll get back there! And anyway, by just lifting things off the floor you're already ahead of just about everyone else, anyway.
