On May 1st, a drone hovered over me, partner + sleeping child. We were >500m away from any demonstrations, it seemed to check out what we were doing on a bench next to the town hall.
Yesterday, I saw a bicyclist break his bike on a terror attack barricade that was laid across the bike path.
@benjaoming I agree it's not great, but if you think this is an intense surveillance dystopia, I recommend never being in a UK city that's playing host to even a totally regular domestic-league football game
