I really, really don't like LinkedIn these days. Just 🤮. The crossover of business and personal lives just isn't working for me. Who thinks, "I'm going to propose marriage this weekend, and (bonus!) I can squeeze out a stinking LinkedIn grift from it, too!"
@marcusjenkins LinkedIn is awesome to find out which of your coworkers are closet/openly racist or nutty or assholes or just idiotic. The only reason I have an account there is for recruiters to contact me and see how I can improve my financial condition.
@jadugar63 I used to be there for the recruiters and as a big address book. Now I'm at a stage that the only people who contact me through LinkedIn are "pension consultants".
