Was more sparing with indoor masking on my last days and got the prompt receipt🫠
E: please no advise, I know everything you can possibly think of. It's my first infection and masked on any indoor thing past that one time where I likely got it (crowded restaurant)
@timonsku I watch people try to bargain with this virus all the time. They tell themselves things like "cases are low right now and I really need some fun." Then the masks come off and they get the dreaded red line.
I hope it proves inconsequential for you, but know that it might not for someone else if you pass it on. Please isolate. Might want to get on some Paxlovid and Metformin stat to minimize your Long Covid chances.
@MisterHW Yea that was good news. Also that other one that can target a virus more broadly so immune evasion wouldn't be as much of a problem anymore but sounded like that was a fair bit out.
I had a booster a month ago so yea, would have hoped that would help longer for actual infection lol
