I simply cannot daily Linux for the time being due to my hardware being incompatible.
I love Linux and what people do with it, but I can't use it due to no fault of my own.
if you're going to bash Linux at least give a good reason for it.

@Jessica I'm not really sure why people are so bent out of shape about this. From what I understand there are just two version of KeepassXC, one with more features than the other being packaged in Debian. Debian have always been conservative with this kind of thing.

@ChrisWere I've been saying this for a long time now, if you're not happy with the way your distro packages something, that's the entire point of flatpak/appimage, to provide a more up to date universal package that should work with no fuss on 99% of linux installs.

@Jessica Yeah but in this case they're including both options in the distro repos, but yeah, you can also get it in Snaps, Flats, and Apps as well.

@ChrisWere I personally don't consider snaps an option due to some packages being so poorly packaged that it causes issues for the end user (steam for example)

@Jessica I don't consider them because Flats and Apps do they job just as well, but being more FOSSY at the same time.

@ChrisWere I do want to try to at least meet normal users halfway, I don't want to recommend a Foss program that will be worse than a proprietary one, I try to show the pros and cons of each program, including the fact that proprietary programs usually aren't as well optimized for the linux experience compared to FOSS programs.
I genuinely think that programs like krita, olive, and libreoffice, handbrake, blender, etc are better than their proprietary counterpart for the average user than the proprietary junk.
but if a proprietary software is obviously better then I won't say otherwise, just try to make the user aware that if the company does something you don't like you're absolutely powerless to the changes.

@Jessica Yeah, this is the flexibility of Linux in action. I appreciate the Debian values and procedures, which I understand would not be shared by everyone, but there are options for all.
