@kaia That reminded me of a certain scene in a Czech film, Cozy Dens, where a husband gives his wife unbreakable drinking glasses for Christmas and then they immediately test how unbreakable they really are.
@phnt@kaia I saw someone do this with an "unbreakable pipe" at a head shop, the guy was like go ahead throw it at the floor so my friend threw it at the floor and it blew apart into a million pieces

@kaia@Jain the logic is the same for any market action, if this aspect would dominate, there would be zero satisfactory products in a market economy. The ingredient that prevents this is competition.
@lanodan@kaia Yeah, I think somebody from them basically said "we come to phone manufacturers saying 'hey, we can make the glass twice as strong in this new version' and they reply 'so that means you can make it twice as thin?' every single time"
