@kiwa So you may have more experience on this than I, but we had an embedded system that used a CF card as a hard disk.

Due to a programming oversight, that card was constantly being written to, and failed after a few months.

Not sure if that would happen with whatever you’re planning to do.

@DeltaWye yeah i have seen swapping and logs killing cards, but i have been using old recycled cards for years and for old random stuff they work fine, never seen one die because i run 98 on it

so i don't worry too much about it, and at this point it's all just old stuff i kinda expect it to randomly die at any moment hah
