Unpopular Bay Area food takes:
- Swan Oyster Depot is not worth the wait
- most of the well known foodie places are not good
- Burmese food here is gentrified
- Chinese food here is fine but you got to get out of San Francisco (Millbrae, South SF, Milpitas)
- I’m tired of ‘new California cuisine’
- the Japanese food in the city is so bad that the best ones are worse than a low end Japanese restaurant in Asia
- nobody needs $200pp menus
