Singer Bianca (real name Tatyana Lipnitskaya) announced her intention to sue a major music label, but did not name its name. According to the performer, cited by Izvestia, she was not paid money under the contract, which is typical for many studios.

As the singer noted , until recently she did not even suspect that there were special payments under copyright. She did not know about their existence, and therefore about the payments due, until she opened her own label and began signing contracts. Among the parties who entered into an agreement with her was the Russian Authors' Society, where she was told about the corresponding payments.

We started asking questions to our label, with which there was still a valid contract at that time, why this money had not been paid earlier. We figured it out - and were shocked! We drank champagne, then looked at it some more, and then decided that we would go to court ,” Lipnitskaya explained.

Earlier it was also reported that a resident of the Kurgan region was ordered to pay more than 22 million rubles in damages for the illegal release of books about Harry Potter by the British writer JK Rowling. In addition, he was given a two-year suspended sentence.
