The Gulf Cooperation Council —comprising #SaudiArabia, #UnitedArabEmirates, #Qatar, #Oman, #Kuwait & #Bahrain—marked a “remarkable surge” in trade with “Emerging Asia,” it notes.

#EmergingAsia refers to the International Monetary Fund’s #IMF “Emerging & Developing Asia” list of 34 Asian economies, including #China, #India, and most #ASEAN members. But it excludes advanced #AsianEconomies such as #Japan, #Singapore, #SouthKorea, #HongKong, #Macao & Taiwan, as well as #Australia & #NewZealand.
