Turns out I’m only a couple of years older than Hip Hop. It’s literally the novel musical form of my generation then. Sometime in the very early ‘90s, a mate at college spent his summer in NY. Love the sunkissed laid back grooves, especially the horns, in this french hiphop track.

Solaar is rightly viewed as 1 of the legendary trailblazers of French language hiphop.
