Best thing about Jerez is watching the massive stream of bikes flowing into the circuit. Or driving back to my hotel, the bikes streaming towards Jerez.

The Spanish Grand Prix will take place at Jerez in 2024 and 2025. Contract signed with Jerez city council, the circuit, and Dorna.

Under the current agreement to host 3 races in 5 years, makes it likely that Jerez will skip 2026. But that is just me speculating.

Really happy to see the progress pride flag on the Alpines this week, I hope they keep it on for all of June. Also well done to Sir Lewis Hamilton to put a lovely rainbow on his helmet!

Point 6 (under Reasons) is golden:

  1. Mr. Steiner stated that if he had meant to insult or offend anyone he would have used much different words. The stewards do not dispute this.

I didn’t realise they’d ditched the stupid chicane at the end of the lap and gone back to the proper track layout!! This is great news.

A massive part of my subscriber notes is free for everyone to read today, because I wrote about the anger at the Stewards which percolates through the paddock for their inconsistency.

Stuff about Ducati, KTM, and why the crashes at the start too.

That was a fantastic race. Champion's ride by Bagnaia, but Binder made it so hard for him to win. Miller strong in third too.

FIM Stewards are absolute muppets.

Nasty crash for Quartararo, Oliveira, and Bezzecchi at Turn 2 in Jerez. Race incident, a lot of coinciding lines. Oliveira currently in the medical centre.

That was an absolute demonstration by Sam Lowes in Moto2. He loves this track, and on his day, he is exceptional, especially round here. Acosta very solid ride to grab second.

Felt a bit sorry for Arbolino, who had a great ride, but couldn't put it all together.

The engine configuration and peak horsepower are the least of Yamaha's problems.

The bike is the opposite of what it was, it's nervous and responds aggressively to any rider inputs. They are in trouble.
