#SteepleSaturday
Heilig-Kreuz-Münster Rottweil.
Its origins date back to the year 1122, when a Romanesque church stood on this site. 100 years later, the three-nave church in late Romanesque style was erected. In 1400, the high Gothic choir towering the nave was added.
#SteepleSaturday: Curon, an village in South Tyrol was flooded in 1950 to create an artificial lake. The only thing left to remind about the village’s existence is the church steeple emerging from the waters of the lake.
