#FangWatch Akira Shinonome from "Train to the End of the World" suddenly becomes catlike and gains a fang when subject to the itchy effects of Higashi-Kurume station.
As is tradition, I'm behind on my shows (although not all of them, Girls Band Cry, for example). So I didn't get to start this one yet, but I did have it in the list I made in March about what I want to check out.
Being welcomed to their first stop by a young woman with a mushroom growing out of her head is one of the LEAST weird things in #TrainToTheEndOfTheWorld thus far.
Whatever ELSE can be said for this show, at least I won’t be BORED. :)
Just some context for the anime Train to the End of the World, the girls are taking the Seibu-Ikebukuro line https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seibu_Ikebukuro_Line from Agano (31) and are heading to Ikebukuro (1). It's 30 stops, and the express usually takes 1.5-2hrs normally.
They spent Episode 2 taking the train from Agano (31) to Higashi-Agano (30).
The effects of 7G made the gaps between stations longer. It also had mysterious effects on the Koma River, which the tracks run parallel to for a few stations, become some kind of lake instead.
Train To The End Of The World wasn't what I expected from the trailer, but I'm not disappointed. I thought I was going to dislike the art style until she pushed the button, and then things got interesting and stayed that way. I think I'm into this. #TrainToTheEndOfTheWorld
