A #leafcutter#bee takes his/her piece of leaf, cut from a rose leaf in the garden, into a hollow log in the #stumpery . It is so rewarding to see the wildlife utilising my garden! @HampshireKarin@Buglife
I haven’t seen nearly as many pollinators in my garden this year as I did last year. I haven’t seen any green sweat bees. Last year, the flowers in my garden were covered by honeybees. Now I’ve only seen a few. Not many bumblebees, either. I have seen lawns with pesticide warning signs in the city, though. I want to add a sticker to all these signs which reads, “pesticides kill pollinators.” Why does a “bee-friendly” city allow pesticides to be sprayed on lawns? @waterlooregion#pollinators#BeeFriendly#ColonyCollapse#pesticides
We are absolutely buzzing to have won a silver-gilt medal for our #BeeTheChange exhibit at #RHSChelsea Flower Show, showcasing how simple changes can help 🐝!
Last year we won silver, so we're thrilled to beat our own record 🥳
