Oh dear. Seeing a political party announcing its strategy .... saying the quiet bit out loud ... strikes me as foolish.
In the run up to 2019 the Corbynistas were bragging about knocking out targeted Conservative MPs ... in the event it was plain that the Conservatives quietly got on with the job of defending the Blue Wall and attacking silently in the Red Wall with great success.
So for Sir Ed to repeat the failed LP approach is just sad.
