"The magic happens when #pedaling #generates energy, which is then stored in the #supercapacitor, allowing for a rapid #recharge of the system. This #stored #energy can be unleashed for tasks like #climbing hills. With the #PI-POP #electricbike, the days of plugging in to recharge are over; your pedaling recharges it."

These Revolutionary Electric Bikes Don’t Need Batteries Or Recharging, A World First

> The PI-POP bike’s supercapacitor is constructed from carbon, aluminum, cellulose, and polymers, all of which are more recyclable.

Any suggestions of safely discharging a supercapacitor bank? I've got a device with two 120 Farad Tecate Ultracapacitors (rated 2.7 V) that are sitting about 85% full.

I'd really rather not wait a week to get these discharged naturally

to get to a 52V with 20 x 2.7V 3000F capacitors at 5.35 x 2.36 inches each, $30 each and $50 in balancing boards, like $750 maybe all in a case 24 x 5 x 6in and they're 3Wh/each so 60Wh, 3.6kW*minutes! 1kW for 3.6min, etc. the cargo would zip but that's overkill for a personal bike. I have no idea what I'm doing or what it weighs.
