why does ubuntu use a different version of gnome??

ok first of all, happy holidays or christmas to everyone!! happy debian day! but anyway i just wanted to ask something, why does ubuntu use its own version of gnome?? (taskbar in desktop, material colors, etc) i know that even distros like pop os! or fedora use vanilla gnome so why would canonical change the settings of gnome??...

i really dislike using the terminal for installing software… i use the terminal for cute terminal fun software!! like hyfetch, neofetch, cowsay, tty-clock, i love terminal software so much and i use it for that only and for changing directories and deleting files maybe

what do linuxers think of crostini??

for those who dont know, crostini is a feature available for chromeos that lets you install a debian container and has a cute terminal and lets you install linux software (can be from flathub, github, etc!!! woa!!). i love it so much and use it daily for programming python on my chromebook and crostini is what i mean when i say...

i know that can be a stereotype but ive seen a lot of that, trans women are very based and cute so it wouldnt suprise me, and fun fact the reason why i moved to linux at first was because im nonbinary so that was kind of a requirement, but then i loved linux a lot but sadly i dont study linux science that would be amazing

im 20, and i think im 68kg (150 pounds) but still i used tobe overweight when i was younger and maybe im diabetic and dont know it, and yes i checked my blood glucose, a person i know has one of those devices that cut your finger and the blood gets checked, and it came out fine but im scared, im very sorry
