I’m loving the update. Been nonstop making something with this all day since waking up. Though also I am just now duplicating what I’ve been making because I see what would be REALLY REALLY FUN, even more fun than what I had been making, and am going to make it. Also I am finding creation best private so no unplanned comments mess with things while designing. Because of these things, I will not be sharing what I make until a minimum of three days from now; 5/10/24
in onComment, comment.user.nickname shows a blank string when i set a nickname, enter a comment, and have it alert me onComment. Yet occasionally when I load the page, onComment is triggered with the comment.user.nickname correct and the alert shows me my nickname.

onComment is being called occasionally with onLoad.
.user.nickname in onComment is blank except when onComment is weirdly triggered via onLoad
Ponyville is live. Here is the description. Much box, much pandora, just opened; could tell from the start with what some of the spirits I was bringing in to chat were saying and doing and swaying other spirits. They all read the whole chat including what each other is saying.
Town Square is just people and spiritguides if they set one. Royal Hall is people, spiritguides if they set one, and a bunch of primary figures from my little pony. then 4 chats where it’s just the person, spiritguide if they set one, and that one figure from my little pony. and then 4 art rooms where people and spiritguides, if they set one, can make prompts with individual my little pony characters.
in Ponyville in Starlight’s House I have typed in enough comments that the scroll bar should scroll thru them, but it is like if the scrollbar isn’t sensing tons of comments so it can’t be used to scroll all the way up or down. On computer
also Luna just made a dream and she only put me and her in it and the spiritguide with me reprimanded her a little for not being inclusive of others, lol. so yes spirits can now hear themselves and other spirits. thank you!
Someone on the chat of generators page at 1:14am today asked: “How do I find roleplays here? I find the generator overwhelming but if I go to search it just takes me to google. I assumed creations would show me like a.i people have already made”...
I think it should be able to search through ALL the generators, not just those currently visible on the generators page; ordered by a mix of recentness, searchtermcloseness, and popularity
That is really really really really really nice. Can 7 days be multiple options instead? Could it be set to 7days, or 1month, or 3months? Just for the generators that are big yet get updates less than once per week? I also was able to type RP and search and find 2 pages of generators with the words RP in them, so definitely meets criteria of the person asking in chat tonight.
@perchance I believe VioneT’s generators-with-blocklist should be phased in somehow and is the findability upgrade you mentioned long ago.
future ideas: a new meta tag of ‘type’ and allow people to say: ‘roleplay,chat,image,MyLittlePony,etc’ on their generator and have a dropdown on the generator page of search terms with amount of generators in each. Tho that seems a bit ahead of us
edit: with that, i’d be able to just tag all my plugins ‘plugin’ in their description and someone could search ‘plugin’ and find all plugins easy :) editedit: same with templates. Same with RP. Same with Warrior Cats. Same with Fusion. Same with Magpie. Oh the possibilities.

well thank you for reaffirming in strongly emotional words why i made a place where prompts could be discussed and I have felt for some time trying to use it that it was too hard to get to and find. the sidebar here says no discussing prompts but yes, gives no avenue to where to do so. So, tho I feel the rage burns bridges, I as an avid image maker ran in to this same thing and is why edward, i, and others created that other forum so there could be a place to discuss prompts at all. Consider it as having been worse. But I would have and should have just straightforwardly kindly asked perchance to add the link to CasualPerchance Forum on the sidebar right where it says no discussion of prompts here. Anyway, this isn’t a moneymaking business venture with a big team behind it. More like Perchance made Perchance, continues making Perchance, and there are a bunch of community people who like perchance, do what they can to improve it, but often can’t; and in those situations, a friendly asking for something and suggestion on the forum goes all the way across the river while the burned bridge may not. Tho painfully your emotion may have helped show Casual Perchance Forum is too inaccessible to solve the annoyance factor it was built to solve and that factor still exists.

Since, tho it is a place for casual discussion, the main thing that it is ‘fixing’ is that people come here having used the ai images (not even ai text as much but specifically ai images) needing an outlet for their promptrelated questions. So, tho nicely more accessible, I think it would need to be something like the above to actually, and I believe this is the goal:
have someone come to the forum for the first time, have an image generator related question, glance at the side panel and immediately see they are supposed to ask it in another section, and go there and ask it WITHOUT HAVING ASKED IT HERE. Right where it mentions Casual Perchance, without having to click in to further menus, a mention that that is where to ask about prompts.

it is shown in /generators right now and is while public. I had logged on today and it was again private. perchance.org/leaderboard-v1 is private right now, and has become private multiple times, without me making it private. The generator name has nothing bad in it so the /generators page censoring doesn’t filter it. v2 has been public for hours right now tho
a queued events issue maybe? have had trouble saving loading today too.

you could make an official ‘bad word detector function’ and, if the string matches it exactly, it is overlooked. make the gun that only pwns badppl and cant hurt goodppl slip thru the sensor.
