Elon is a free speech absolutist.

Unless you're a critic of Tesla. Then you're banned.

Unless you use terms like "cis" and "cisgender", in this case it's a slur and he can censor you. Or you publish the flight data of his private jet. Or you are an employee who disagrees with his decisions. Or...

You get it. All the so called "free speech absolutists" are hypocrites who will censor you if they don't like what you have to say.

As long as IBMRedHat publishes links to the upstream projects and send them patches for the modifications they distribute, no. But they don't have to publish the .spec files for RPM packages if those were created by them and are not part of the upstream, since those are not covered by the project's license.

Next part of the Fediverse I'd like to see grow like that is PeerTube, so we can flip the Red Site a (few thaousands of) middle finger.

You can even subscribe to a PeerTube channel from Mastodon and get a toot when a video is posted. Like I just did with @art channel ;-)

old Asus A320 with a Ryzen 2600G and 16 GB of ram. Both memory and CPU were on my previous gaming desktop, I gave them to a friend that needed it. When he said he didn't need it any more, I took both back plus I bought his mobo.

I'm running Proxmox with one full VM for OPNSense and some containers for Pihole, HomeAssistant, Jellyfin, Gitlab, and file server.

I figured that repurposing old desktop parts as I upgrade is better and cheaper than buying old server gear. I get better performance with less power draw and less noise.

It's pretty good, certainly beats what I had before, which was a bunch of manual iptables rules 😱

Create a language where tabs are used for indentation while comments are formed by one space character at the beginning of a line, followed by a tab. Exactly eight spaces at the beginning of a line means that line is continuation of the previous one.

Maybe I'll start an Anarchy Programming sublemmy.

Thanks. Found them on Bandcamp and bought their latest album.

Yes, but not as dramatic. It dropped from around 110-120 to 70FPS and it locks up when I try to take a screenshot in picture mode.

Yup. And CPU too.

Posts on Lemmy.World randomly change?

Has anyone noticed that when you click on a post to see the details/comments, sometimes the link you click on just randomly changes to some other post? I have seen that multiple times now, and usually don't notice until I read the comments and they aren't talking about the post, then I scroll back up and the post is something...

Anarch157a,
@Anarch157a@lemmy.world avatar

I think it's a bug on the frontend. Usually a reload brings the correct post.

That's a useful method for those who haven't unlocked the minotaur or the Nautilon yet. Once you do, just use the Exo's scanners to locate crash sites for free.

For mouse heavy games like 4X titles or building games such as Cities Skylines, the lack of trackpads will severely hamper the ROG Ally, IMHO. Touch screen is not a good substitute.

Mine is that the reason there are no Humans in NMS is because we're the creators of Atlas.

[very noob question] how can i calculate the hours passed between 2 different times and between days in C

hello, i'm new to programming in i'm trying to solve this exercise in C, basically it's the amount of passed hours between the start of a game and it's end, if the game started at 16 and ended at 2 the result is a game with 10 hours(in different days) i know i can to it more manually, but i wanted to somehow use the to learn...

Take 10 minutes to watch this video, then follow his advice. get a library that handles time and date and use it.

I fell that not only the merger should be blocked, but both MS and Actiblizard should be broken in tiny pieces. Same for Google, Facebook, Amazon, Nestle and others. Mega-corporations shouldn't exist, except on a few, tightly regulated areas.

No CDN. The secret is way simpler: It's a static site. Just a bunch of files served directly by Nginx. I use Pelican to generate the site from Markdown files.

Have you tried FreshRSS for feeds ? I'm pretty happy with it.
