Vet results: as far as an exam and blood work can tell, Boots is doing well. We’re managing his cardiomyopathy with medications. His heart murmur has not gotten any worse. His lungs sound good, also no worse. His blood work was good: good electrolytes, no anemia, no evidence of infection, thyroid good, kidney and liver results good. He even gained a bit of weight!
*in Indiana, a “tenderloin” refers specifically to a sandwich traditional in that part of the Midwest, made from a piece of pork tenderloin pounded flat into a thin disc the size of a dinner plate, breaded and fried, and served (usually with pickle and shredded lettuce) on a bun that’s hilariously too small for it
And sometimes they look like this. In latter times there has been something of a tenderloin arms race: under selective pressure, tenderloins have gone from a pounded pork chop to something like this, bigger than a full-grown manta ray
@CoolerPseudonym if you've got the technical skills, you could talk to the admin to see if they're willing to let you take it over. But as the other reply noted, the biggest issues are cost and moderation. Get a few trusted people and you can take care of the latter, but cost will vary depending on a lot of factors.

Hm, looking around, I could bear the cost, I think. The skill is trickier. I can find my way around Linux and ssh but I’ve never done anything like this
