There’s probably a non-zero chance that a CIA researcher who happens to be a Lovecraft fan read the 1969 James Wade short story titled The deep ones and decides to make it a reality.
The first image was wtf, then the next few ones were really cute, and then back to wtf. What a roller-coaster! I think the one I enjoyed the most was the dog with glasses.
I definitely did enjoy her work! But I vastly prefer the weird but cute collages over the biblically accurate angel incarnation of dogs. There’s something deeply unsettling about the multitude of eyes.
I love her work, she’s also got some excellent cat and human collages that I’ll be exploring at some point soon
I’ll be waiting. She’s definitely talanted, and I would enjoy seeing the selection you choose to show us! Thank you for sharing art I’d otherwise would never had discovered.
I don’t have a jellyfin server but 1MB/s (8mbps) for each person watching 1080p (3.6Gb per hour of content for each file) seems reasonable. ~3MB/s (24mbps) upload and as much download should work.
(TL;DR): I love being terrified, and this has led me to a fascination with imagining being a witness to / a victim of various tragedies. Is that weird?...
I didn’t follow any of this, it was forced down my throat :
Random Twitter woman says she’d rather be with a bear than a man while in the woods.
Some men gets angry that she’d rather be with a dengerous wild beast rather than a man.
the Woman double down. Other women agree with her.
it becomes a meme. Mostly by men making fun of how it would end if she really meets a bear or making jokes about how even the bear wouldn’t want to be near her.
I haven’t really seen an AI image in while, so I can’t say if they all got a bored expressionless face. But I have seen a fair number before, and never felt the instinctive uncanny valley emotion I felt seeing the expressionless faces of the kids.
When I was a kid, like a real little kid, I remember having this one song I liked a lot about a guy trying to deal with getting wedgies at school. I remember almost nothing about it now, other than the guy eventually finds that Fruit of the Loom brand underwear has stretchy enough elastic to make the wedges painless. (This song...
I know nothing about how any of this works, and so what I am gonna say may be complete nonsense, but If the current one was weaker and the last powerful one was in the late 19th century, then this would hopefully means another “real” corrignton event will at least need more than a century and half to occur.
A Weibo tipster states the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will launch with an Adreno 830 GPU clocked at 935 MHz. The SoC’s P-cores will have a peak clock of 4.2 GHz and the other six cores will max out at 2.6 GHz....
Balancing performance against power draw is tough. You’ll find diminishing returns on adding more cores when a bigger core might complete a task faster and use less power overall
